Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the City of Alexandria. The Advisory is in effect from midnight tonight, January 31, to noon on Tuesday, February 1. Sleet developing after 7 p.m. on January 31 is expected to change to freezing rain after midnight. Residents are urged to be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility, and to use caution while driving.
City crews are standing by to respond as precipitation moves through the area. To report a weather related road condition, please call 703.746.4488.
