A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the City of Alexandria,beginning Friday morning through Saturday evening. Accumulations of 16 to24 inches are possible, and near-blizzard conditions are expected.

Be prepared for extremely limited mobility for several days. Safe mobilityfor emergency services is the City’s first priority and residents are askedto stay off the roads so that City crews can plow and treat primary andsecondary roads first. After a significant snowfall, it may take up tothree days for road crews to get to residential streets.
