CPC Toy Drive

You still have time to donate a toy at any of the locations listed below for the CPC Toy Drive!

Each holiday season, Community Partners for Children collects toys for deserving kids in the Alexandria area, and asks the community for help.

“When we’re wrapped up in holiday planning, it’s easy to forget what really matters,” said Pat Miller, president of the local non-profit Community Partners for Children. “If we remember the families in our community who are falling behind, and we find a way to help, it makes the season mean a great deal more.”

CPC volunteers have delivered decorated boxes to participating local businesses and government offices. In mid-December, volunteers will pick up the donated toys. On Distribution Day, Saturday, December 19, CPC will sort the donations by age group, and then help deserving families select toys for their children.

Besides the holiday toy drive, Community Partners for Children also organizes a back-to-school drive in August and a baby supply drive in the spring.

Here’s how you can support the holiday toy drive:

  1. Donate a Grocery Gift Card! at a CPC donation box.
  2. Donate toys! Leave a doll, toy truck, game, or any other new toy for a deserving child or infant at a CPC donation box.
